Chinese New Year of the Rabbit
On Feb 3rd we entered a new Chinese year – the year of the Rabbit.
Rabbit years are characterised by rest and calm, much needed following the ferocious and turbulent Tiger year that has just gone. In rabbit years, persuasion wins out over force – this is a year for diplomacy, discussion and negotiation. Concessions can be reached, and agreements made.
This is a relaxed time, a time for enjoyment and taking it easy. Rules and laws may not be rigidly enforced, and there is a risk of putting off unpleasant tasks or duties for too long. Equally, the tendency can be to relax too much to the point of laziness !
Financially, this is supposed to be a good year for making money without too much effort. It remains to be seen if this will be the case in our current global recession!
I hope that after what has been a hard year for many, the relaxed and carefree attitude of the Rabbit will help us all to relax and enjoy, free from too many concerns and difficulties. And with that in mind, it seems quite suitable that this year’s Spring Workshop is Stress Management Masterclass – For more details click here
